We're Taking our TALENT to the STREET...
... Flagler Street!
Flagler Street Stages:
• 159 E. Flagler Street • 132 E. Flagler Street |
Olympia Theater launches Street Stages, bringing FREE community programming to Downtown Miami’s Flagler Street on Friday and Saturday evenings through March 2021. Since we can’t present entertainment inside, Olympia brings the show outside so everyone can enjoy Miami’s talented Performing Artists in a safe, socially distanced, responsible way.
Every Friday and Saturday from 4:00p to 8:00p Singer/Songwriters, Jazz/Pop Ensembles, Jugglers, Electronica, Comedians, Opera and Performance Art pop up in front of Storefront Art Installations at two locations on East Flagler Street. Sets are short and a perfect fit between drinks and bites in Downtown restaurants and bars. Street Stages is part of the #Flagler District #SafeStreets / Alt-B initiative, activating vacant storefronts with Art, and is funded by Miami DDA, Miami-Dade County, Florida Division of Cultural Affairs and supported by Flagler District BID. |

@ 132 E. Flagler Street (EXILE) Lone Wolf • One Man Band A spectacle to truly behold, Bruno Esposito, known to the nocturnal bar dwellers simply as "Lone Wolf", delivers on his name and then some. A one man force armed with a drum on each foot, a harmonica framed to his face, and a multitude of instruments taking turns upon his hands, he channels the souls of all the buried blues ghosts, making them jump up out of their graves and dance upon their bones. His guttural croons tell tales of a time he's never seen, but ring loud and familiar, as if he's been there before. ...Unexpected, Swamp-bred, and completely unfiltered Americana |

@ 159 E. Flagler Street (ALFRED I DUPONT) JUke JUke is a four-piece, "post-blues," hybrid with a high motor and bottomless soul. Spearheaded by frontman/harmonica-whiz/singer, Eric Garcia, JUke's content touches on non-traditional subject matter while simultaneously keeping their crowd moving with a smile on their faces. The addition of Korian Hannah on the drums, and the amazing Marcel Salas now have the band firing on all cylinders. JUke's high-energy live performances and imaginative lyrical depth have thrilled music fans from coast to coast. They have both backed and opened for G. Love and Zach Deputy, opened for Gary Clark Jr. and wowed folks at festivals such as Wanee, Hulaween, and many more. ...with powerful lineup behind Eric Garcia, JUke takes their stories and shows to the people! |
