Olympia Arts MIAMI developed a prototype gallery window for our 2022 Street Galleries project featuring the work of Miami artist Monique Lassooij at 156 E. Flagler Street.
Street Galleries are vacant storefront windows turned into artist specific art galleries "...taking visual art to the streets" of the historic Flagler District of Downtown Miami. Olympia Arts MIAMI will formally launch our Street Galleries project in 2022.

Magic City Opera • Opera Favorites/Show Tunes
Magic City Opera, was formed to create experiential events that can entertain and educate South Florida audiences using the creative arts force, opera. Recognizing the social culture that the South Florida community thrives on, Magic City Opera focuses on creating short presentations, bookended with social events. MCO operates on the precept that less is more, limiting our presentations length and allowing time for reflection, discussion, and socialization.

This band is comprised of four members of the Benavides Family. First is Yecid Benavides Senior, who has a 40 year career in Music and the arts, as a songwriter, singer, music producer and filmmaker. Then Susana Joffré, the most famous Bolivian singer from the 70's and 80's and mother to Yecid's two older boys, Yecid Jr. and Johanan Benavides, both musicians and renown filmmakers as well. Together, they perform a variety of their own songs as well as a really wide mix of classics and contemporary music, ranging from rock ballads, to flamenco, Argentinian folk-music (zambas) and R&B. They sing, play music, and take turns entertaining audiences with heartfelt music and their outgoing and fun personalities.

Paul Morris is an Artist, Singer, Songwriter from Miami Florida with Jamaican upbringing. A winner of Jamaica’s Digicel Rising Star on TVJ. Paul has toured over 15 countries and collaborated with Grammy award winning producers like Tyshane Thompson. Paul’s soulful voice, hip hop and trap sounds reflect his personal journey in life, love and music.

Zachary Bartholomew Quartet • Jazz
Dr. Zachary Bartholomew is an award-winning jazz pianist, composer, and music educator who maintains an active performance career as one of the most heavily sought-after pianists, accompanists, and sidemen in South Florida. He has been featured as a performer, composer, and bandleader at various national and international jazz festivals. Zach’s original music and unique arrangements are inspired by the jazz tradition, but also draw heavily from Afro-Cuban rhythms and modern influences, and he performs with professional organizations such as the Sarasota Pops Orchestra, Naples Philharmonic, the Gulf Coast Symphony Jazz Collective, and the Lake Wales Jazz Connection. In addition to his active performance career, Zach is currently a full-time faculty member at Florida Memorial University.
