Strings Attached • Jazz & Pop
Strings Attached is an original cello and piano ensemble that incorporates rock, jazz, pop, and classical. From South Florida, they specialize in high-energy, fresh arrangements, and compositions. The group features Stephanie James on cello, who recently performed alongside Bjork, Shakira, JLo, and The Eagles, and pianist Kevin Maddox, aka the melody maker, who combines his in-depth background in Jazz with his love for Hip-hop and RnB to create soulful melodic lines on his keyboard.

Leesa Richards Band • Jazz/R&B
Singer-Songwriter Leesa Richards grew up in music-rich Detroit and started showing an inclination towards the arts at an early age. Ms. Richards began honing her vocal chops with soul greats Gerald Austin and Peabo Bryson and contemporary soul maverick Dionne Farris. Richards has since performed with a slate of powerhouse artists including Faith Hill, The Bee Gees, Kelly Clarkson, Gloria Estefan, Carole King and Joe Bonamassa. Her debut solo album, Mother's Child, a rich blend of soulful ballads, rock and R&B.

Othello Molineaux Quartet • Steel Pan Jazz
Othello Molineaux is widely credited with introducing the steel pan to the jazz world. He was born in Trinidad and Tobago, the dual island republic that also gave birth to the Steel Pan. He spent much of his early career performing with the late Jaco Pastorius' ensemble after migrating to the US in the 1970's. Molineaux has since performed with many other Jazz greats including Herbie Hancock, Dizzy Gillespie, Alexander, Art Blakey and Randy Brecker. His groundbreaking album with Jamaican, Monty Alexander "Ivory and Steel" is considered as the "first successful commercial jazz album using a steel drum". Molineaux’s "It's About Time" was voted best Jazz Album by the Miami New Times was also declared a "Jazz Masterpiece" by America's #1 Jazz Magazine, "Jazz Times".
