Olympia Arts MIAMI developed a prototype gallery window for our 2022 Street Galleries project featuring the work of Miami artist Monique Lassooij at 156 E. Flagler Street.
Street Galleries are vacant storefront windows turned into artist specific art galleries "...taking visual art to the streets" of the historic Flagler District of Downtown Miami. Olympia Arts MIAMI will formally launch our Street Galleries project in 2022.

Waldron Dunkley • Trombone
Waldron E. Dunkley II, is a talented performer, arranger, and multi-faceted instrumentalist. He is a well-known freelancer whose repertoire consists of jazz, reggae, soca, Junkanoo, orchestral and symphony work, r&b, soul, and church gospel. An artist that plays multiple instruments, Waldron performs on trombone, vocals trumpet, baritone, flugelhorn, and tuba. He has a Master’s Degree in Music Performance from Florida Statue University and is currently the President and co-founder of the “Travis Quinn Young Musicians Foundation”.

Aldo Salvent is an award winning saxophonist and composer. He holds a Master Degree in jazz saxophone performance and also serves as an adjunct professor of saxophone at Florida International University. In January 2015 he released "Da Capo", his first solo album as a leader on Dazzle Recordings, receiving positive reviews from “All About Jazz” magazine and “El Nuevo Herald” newspaper. Aldo currently performs as a sideman with Grammy & Latin Grammy Nominated group PALO!, the Waldo Madera Jazz Quintet, Alfredo Chacón's Quartet and Brian Lynch's Spheres of Influences Band. In October 2019, Aldo released his second album "Ancestros", available in all digital platforms.

Diane Jorge is an actor & improvisor from Miami. For the past 12 years, Diane has been performing, directing & teaching improv with the Front Yard Theatre Collective & Just the Funny. In 2020, she was featured in the Front Yard Theater Collective online series, Quarantine Around the World, where she performed her fun impressions, including the world-famous astrologist Walter Mercado, bringing mucho, mucho amor to the screen. In 2021, Diane began to bring Mercado de la Fortuna to Street Stages.

LeNard Rutledge Quartet • Jazz
LeNard Rutledge, born and raised in Miami, Florida, is often compared, aptly, to the legendary Lou Rawls. Rutledge's classy elegance is permeated by the raw passion of his church choir work. In fact Rutledge still sings with the choir at The Church of The Incarnation. He began not as a vocalist but as a percussionist, playing in the marching and concert band at Miami Central Senior High. Lenard began his vocal career in 1997, when he was asked to join the famed Melton Mustafa Orchestra. He was the featured vocalist for Mustafa for seven years. LeNard has shared the stage with a number of highly respectable jazz artist such as: Wycliffe Gordon, Kenny Drew Jr., Dee Dee Bridgewater, Kirk Whalum, Marion Meadows and the late George Duke.
